Salama Colored Canyon (various programs)
Colored Canyon Salama
The unusual canyon is often in demand among tourists.
It was most likely formed by an earthquake in sandstone cliffs ( formerly the seabed ) in the southeastern Sinai Peninsula, near the city of Nuweiba. Over the course of several centuries, rainwater carved out the depression. The sandstones that make up the canyon are colored a variety of colors— red , pink , yellow , gray , purple , white — and also contain ancient corals .
We offer a comprehensive program from Sharm el-Sheikh that every tourist raves about. You can combine many Egyptian activities in one excursion .
You will see not only the colorful ( red ) Salama Canyon , but also swim on the reef off the coast , ride camels , ride ATVs ( you can drive them from about 15 years old) and buy souvenirs from Egypt for your family and friends .
